TWO CONFUSED STORIES IN THE GOSPELS

Jesus Christ has captured the imagination of millions of people around the world for almost 2,000 years. Few people know that he represents something far different, and the following chapters unravel an entirely new story about the circumstances surrounding the birth and emergence of the Christian religion.

In order to cover this ground, it is necessary to consider the New Testament stories from a different perspective. By stripping away their supernatural elements, the earliest Church writings relay a confused skeletal outline of the lives of two separate men. This work unravels those stories and shows how the New Testament came into being and what it really is. Until now, this aspect of the Gospel story has never been fully developed; and by coordinating new information with surviving records, a reconstruction of the probable course of events that resulted in Christianity today is presented.

Inleiding

Die Germane van 2000 jaar gelede kon rofweg in drie kultuurstamme verdeel word volgens Plinius die Oude (23-79nC) in sy boek ?Naturalis historia?, naamlik: Ingv?one, Herminone (of Irminone) en Istv?one. Hierdie name kan herlei word na die (Opper)gode wat hierdie kultuurgroepe respektiewelik vereer het, naamlik Ing, Irmin en Istvas. Die tweede gedeelte van die naam kan moontlik verband hou met die Germaanse woord ?v?one (wet of reg). Hierdie Germaanse stamme het geleef volgens die wet van hul (Opper)god. Alhoewel die Germane uit een stam ontwikkel het met een Germaanse taal (sien ook Oergermaans), was dit 2000 jaar gelede nie meer die geval nie.


Tydens die eerste eeue van ons jaartelling kom die Romeine en die Germane met mekaar in aanraking as gevolg van die Germaanse volksverhuising en die uitbreiding van die Romeinse ryk. Germane was in die tyd meestal boere of jagters. Stede het hulle nie geken nie. Waar die Romeine groot kerke/katedrale/tempels gebou het, was die tempels van die Germane die natuur self (met die uitsondering van ?n paar houttempels). Die Germaanse volkere was boeregemeenskappe wat geleef het van die land, van hulle landerye en in harmonie met die natuur. Hulle was selfversorgend en het nie meer geploeg as wat nodig was vir voedsel vir die komende jaar nie. Die jaarwiel was gebaseer op die boerekalender en hulle tradisies en feeste was gewone boerefeeste. Hulle het hulle boereverstand gebruik wat beteken het dat hulle logiese of nugtere denkers was. Verder was die Germane baie gesteld op hulle vryheid en onafhanklikheid. Dit het dan ook dikwels gelei tot konflikte tussen die stamme onderling.

Just about everything imaginable has been either said or suggested about the biblical figure presented to us as Mary Magdalene. That much we can agree. The most favoured and recent of the many hypothesis is that she was the partner of the historical and biblical figurehead Jesus carrying his child and along with that the continuation of a Holy Bloodline. This Mary figure, who after the biblical account where she was the first to visit the tomb of the rising Christ, simply vanishes from record yet warrants becoming an object of character assassination by the Catholic Church and added to their tarnishing of all things female by virtue of Original Sin propaganda and inventing us the lie that she was a prostitute. This enigmatic Mary must have been a potent female in particular, an actual spiritual Teacher who had a following whose importance may well have been thought better removed in order to satisfy a preferred emphasis on a male Jesus figure to cater for the deep-seated homosexual tendencies that have now been brought to light by the exposure of systematic and covered up Catholic Church child abuse in both USA and Ireland and suspected in many other countries if not all where Catholicism is rooted. That the figure of Mary Magdalene may well have been far more important in history than we could have imagined, eclipsing that of the male Jesus storyline as it is told, may well be one of the better secrets held in relation to her and the mystery attached to Rennes-le-Chateau. Is her connection with blood ? menstruation ? the one thing a male church hierarchy loathed, to menstruate being ?men?s true hate?? Was this enigmatic Mary considered such a threat that she was physically removed from accurate recordings of history that would displease the Church, preferring an emphasis on an elevated and deified male Jesus figure? This story line may be some two thousand years ago, but in that time human nature has changed little and powerful women who worry the residing male authority of the day are usually removed, Princess Diana and Benazir Bhutto being two recent examples. Could a pregnant Mary Magdalene have been demised?
